Game Time Snacks and Appetizers

Game Time Snacks and Appetizers

My favorite thing about hosting a party for the big game is spending time with my favorite people and all of the Game Time Snacks and Appetizers!
I love getting together with friends and family to cheer on our favorite teams and watch the commercials. I have to admit, I don’t always have a favorite team to cheer for, but you can be sure I pick one to cheer for the entire night :)! To me it isn’t about what’s on TV but spending time with the people around me. Most of the time I think people come to watch the big game for the commercials and the Game Time Snacks and Appetizers anyway :)!
Ever since I can remember, watching the big game with friends and family has always  been a priority and something that I really looked forward to. I have so many memories from years past of watching the big game. I may not remember who was playing, but I do remember where I watched the game and the people I was with.  For some reason it is a good reason to get together and build community around a fun event that happens every year.
One thing I know that everyone looks forward to when heading to a game day party is the snacks! Finger foods, appetizers, and chips and dips! If you are looking for ways to throw a party for the big game that are super easy and efficient, check out some of these Game Time Recipes!

Turkey Bacon Jalapeno Wraps Recipe

I love using Turkey Bacon for this recipe! You could always use real Bacon, but be sure to try it with Turkey Bacon – you might be surprised at how much you like it! I think that it offers a great flavor that is a little lighter option than normal bacon.

Cheddar Poppers

Jalapeño Pepper Poppers

Here’s What You Need:

1 Package of Cream Cheese (8 oz.)

1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

¼ tsp. Garlic Powder

8 Jalapeño Peppers (Sliced in half and seeded)

1 Can of Croissants

Jalapeno Pepper Poppers snacks

DIRECTIONS:

Start with soft cream cheese & Mix in the Cheddar Cheese and Garlic Powder until everything is well mixed.

Next slice and seed your Jalapeños, remember the oil from the Jalapeños can burn your skin so I recommend using gloves.

Once you have your Jalapeños sliced and seeded you can fill them with the cream cheese mixture.

Take the roll of Croissants and slice each Croissant in half, this will turn a package of 8 into about 16 Croissant Wrappers.

Wrap each filled Jalapeño with a Croissant and place on a greased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 Degrees for around 12 Minutes! Serve while warm.
