I like to make 2-3 pans of lasagna with this recipe. Sometimes I make personal size pans that feed 1-2 people. Normally this recipe makes 2 large and 1 small lasagna (depending on the size). I like to bake 1 pan for dinner and freeze the other two for another night :)! Freezer cooking saves me a ton of time and money. I love that I can have ready-to-bake meals in the freezer that are ready to go after a long day at work.
Lasagna is one of those meals that just says “home” to me. It’s the perfect comfort food to share with your family after the holidays – or on Christmas night after a full day of celebrating. Lasagna is one of the recipes that my Mom would make on a cold night with french bread and salad. My family would gather around the dinner table and talk about our days. There are so many great memories I have from sharing food around the dinner table with my family. I love when recipes like this bring back those old memories and help create new memories along the way. The I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do and that you can create new memories with your family around the dinner table.
