Why I Started Blogging

Why I Started Blogging. Here is some insight into my passion behind blogging and how that passion encourages me to keep pressing on!

Passion is a huge reason why I started blogging. A passion for God and the things He has called me to do. I am not married, I do not have kids, and I sometimes feel as if I’m in a “waiting period” in my life. During this waiting period, God has called me to do, and to be apart of, many amazing things. It is during this season of life that God has opened my eyes and given me a passion to know Him and serve Him more.

I am thankful that with this blog I can share the things God has made me passionate about during this time in my life. He has opened many doors for me and I believe He is molding me into who He wants me to be. Just like the kid’s song says, “He’s still working on me”. He isn’t done yet. He is taking all of my passions and experiences and working them all together for my good and His glory. He has given me passions and desires for the future that I am trusting He will fulfill in His timing. As I live life day-by-day, it is fun to look back and see God’s faithfulness. No, the road isn’t always easy. Sometimes it is very, very hard. But in the end, I know that God is standing by me and that He will strengthen me.

2 Timothy 4:17a
“But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me…”

Whether it is the passions He has given me now, or the passions and desires He has put on my heart for the future, I hope to share about His faithfulness, love, and provision through whatever stage of life I may be in. I hope to look back in a few years and see how God was working in every stage of my life to accomplish His plan and purpose. I pray that my passions and desires are His passions and desires. I pray that through my passions I can encourage and help others along the way.

Now more than ever I feel as if I am exactly where God wants me. He has given me a passion for Kids, Dance Ministry, Family, Fitness, and Learning. I am thankful for the doors that He has opened throughout my life to bring me to where I am today.

Through this blog, I pray that I can encourage you and grow with you in the things that God has called us to do. May we not worry about what others think or say, but only focus on what God has called us to do and do it with all of our heart.

Sometimes it is the passion behind the progress that keeps us striving for what is ahead. I pray we will be passionate in everything that God has called us to do, and that we will do it with excellence as unto the Lord and not to men. I pray that this will encourage you to do the things God has laid on your heart to do. He is faithful.
