Easy Cadbury Birds Nest Easter Sugar Cookies Recipe!
 
Ingredients
  • 1 Package of Sugar Cookie Mix (& Ingredients to make it according to the back of the package - my package needed 1 egg and 1 stick of butter)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • ½ Stick of Butter
  • 1⅓ Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • Food Coloring
Instructions
  1. Prepare cookies using directions on the back of the package.
  2. Create 1” Balls and press the balls down in the center and build up the edges so that you make a “birds nest”. You will want the bottom of the cookies to be very thin.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-8 minutes or until the edges start to lightly brown. Do not over cook.
  4. Remove from oven and leave the cookies on the baking sheet.
  5. Press the cookies down in the center before they cool so that they keep the “birds nest shape”.
  6. Allow cookies to cool completely.
