I love using Turkey Bacon for this recipe! You could always use real Bacon, but be sure to try it with Turkey Bacon – you might be surprised at how much you like it! I think that it offers a great flavor that is a little lighter option than normal bacon.
Jalapeño Pepper Poppers
Here’s What You Need:
1 Package of Cream Cheese (8 oz.)
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
¼ tsp. Garlic Powder
8 Jalapeño Peppers (Sliced in half and seeded)
1 Can of Croissants
DIRECTIONS:
Start with soft cream cheese & Mix in the Cheddar Cheese and Garlic Powder until everything is well mixed.
Next slice and seed your Jalapeños, remember the oil from the Jalapeños can burn your skin so I recommend using gloves.
Once you have your Jalapeños sliced and seeded you can fill them with the cream cheese mixture.
Take the roll of Croissants and slice each Croissant in half, this will turn a package of 8 into about 16 Croissant Wrappers.
Wrap each filled Jalapeño with a Croissant and place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375 Degrees for around 12 Minutes! Serve while warm.
