What you need for Reese’s Heart Cookies

  • Heart Shaped Peanut Butter Cups
  • Peanut Butter
  • Sugar
  • Egg

How to make Reese’s Heart Shaped Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar + 1/4 cup
1 egg
24 Reese’s heart candies

Directions:
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar, and egg together and mix well.
Create 1 tablespoon cookie dough balls and roll each ball in the excess sugar.
Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet.
Use a fork to create the hashtag marks (but don’t push down very far).
Bake for 9 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 3-4 minutes before placing a Reese’s candy heart on each one.
Let cool completely or eat while melty!

Notes:

  • It works best to put the Heart Peanut Butter Cups in the freezer before you start your recipe so they don’t get as melty – but if you like melty, don’t worry about this step!
  • Let the cookies cool completely before stacking. If the chocolate is still warm it will smear and loose it’s shape.
  • Make a double batch – you will eat them 🙂
