That’s right, this Homemade Outside Spray Recipe is an all-natural, kid-friendly, indoor/outdoor bug spray that you can spray in the corners of your home and on your body!  It’s that time of year again. The time that all of the spiders and bugs start to find their way inside. I mean, I love spring and summer, but I do not like it when all of the creeping things find their way into my house. This year I have a new solution to this problem – Homemade Outside Spray!

This recipe is super easy to make, and it really does work! I have been using this for the past month or so in the corners of my home and along the baseboards, and I have hardly seen any unwanted creepy things in my house!

Homemade Outside Spray Recipe

Here’s What You Need:
10 Drops of Citronella Essential Oil
2 Drops of Glycerin
2 Cups of Water

Directions:

Fill an empty plastic, glass, or stainless steel water bottle with 2 cups of water.

Add in the 2 drops of Glycerin and 2 cups of water.

Add 10 drops of Citronella Essential Oil to your glycerin/water mixture.

Shake well.

TIP: You can also use Peppermint Essential Oil to make this recipe and it will work in the same way!

This is also a great recipe to take with you to picnics or barbecues! Just spray the same recipe on you (or your kids’) legs and arms when you are outside to keep the mosquitos away.
