Patriotic Fruit Pizza Recipe

With so many patriotic holidays approaching, I wanted to share my Patriotic Fruit Pizza Recipe with you!

I am always looking for quick and easy dessert recipes to take to parties when I hang out with my friends for holidays. This Patriotic Fruit Pizza Recipe is always a hit! Plus, it’s pretty much the best fruit pizza cream cheese icing you will ever have! I am a fan of all Patriotic Holidays – Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Veterans Day. I think it is important that we honor those who have fought, served, and protected our country!

Patriotic Fruit Pizza Recipe

Here’s What You Need:
Sugar Cookie Mix (see needed ingredients to add-in)
1/2 Stick Butter
8 Ounces Cream Cheese
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/3 Cup Powdered Sugar

Fruit Pizza Cookie Dough

Directions: 
Cookie:
Make cookie according to package.
Spread out on a cookie sheet in the shape of a rectangle.
Bake cookie 7-10 minutes depending on your cookie brand.
Be sure to check your cookie often and don’t over-cook it.
*Take it out of the oven when the edges start to brown even if the center doesn’t look completely cooked. You can leave it on the hot pan so that the cookie can finish cooking.

Fruit Pizza Icing

Icing:
Soften Butter and Cream Cheese.
Add in Vanilla.
Slowly add powdered sugar until desired consistency.

After your cookie is made and the icing is ready, just ice your cookie and add your favorite fruit toppings! Blueberries and strawberries were my pick since this is a flag pizza!
