Common Questions:

How do you make guacamole from scratch?

It’s SO simple to make guacamole from scratch! Gather your ingredients and start adding them in! There is really no right or wrong way to make guacamole, just make it!!

Follow this recipe or add in cilantro, tomatoes, and lemon juice. I have even made guacamole with mayonnaise before! Guacamole can be made to your own tastes. If you like spicy, add more jalapeños.

If you like salt, add more! If you like lime juice (like me) just keep adding! Add slowly and taste often for best results 🙂

What is the primary ingredient of guacamole?

Most people would say Avocado is the main ingredient in guacamole, but for me, the main ingredient is LIME!! Without lime juice guacamole just doesn’t taste right. Second to lime would be salt 😉

How long does guacamole last?

Guacamole usually lasts 1-2 days at best. For best results, save the seed and store the guacamole in an air tight container. This will help keep the guacamole from turning brown as quickly.

Obviously I am obsessed with guacamole and all things dip related! I like to say that my favorite food is Chips and Dips! For the most part I’m not picky about what kind of dip 😉
