I used these Sugared Cranberries to garnish my Simple Red Velvet Cake Recipe! However, here are some more easy Christmas Recipes and Ideas!

How to Make Sugared Cranberries

First, gather what you need to make these before you start and divide your sugar. I used Raw Organic Sugar, but you can always use regular granulated sugar, it’ll just give you a slightly different look but works the same way.

Combine even amounts of sugar and water to create a simple syrup. Heat in a sauce pan over medium heat until dissolved completely and starts to boil.

Add the cranberries to your simple syrup and coat completely.

Divide remaining sugar into two bowls and work with just a few cranberries at a time. First put the coated cranberries in a bowl of sugar to get a good first coat.

Then transfer the cranberries to another bowl of sugar to get a second coat.

Put on a cooling rack to dry completely

Store cranberries in the refrigerator until you are ready to use them, eat them, or use them as a garnish!
