Can I make mini skillet cookies?
Yes! Just grab two 6 1/2″ Cast iron skillets (or 5″ skillets) and divide this recipe in half.
If you have two skillets, make this same recipe and just put half of the dough in each skillet!
How do I keep my cookie from sticking to the pan?
Lots of butter! Go ahead and grease that pan up before you add the cookie dough!
How do I keep my cookie from getting to hard?
Under bake it just a little and then let it cool in the pan to finish baking. Watch your cookie closely, and once the edges start to brown and the center looks set, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the cast iron!
If you like warm cookies, serve it straight out of the oven and add a scoop of ice cream!
