How to Make DIY Homemade Whipped Body Butter
Grab your coconut oil, essential oil, & mixer! Add your coconut oil and your essential oils to the mixing bowl and whip them together for 5 minutes. The oils will go a little crazy so you want to scrape down the sides of the bowl and whip again for another 5 minutes until the coconut oil is soft and fluffy.

Where to Buy Organic Coconut Oil
I have found that one of the easiest ways to get items to make Homemade Recipes is from Amazon! The shipping is super fast and you can order it right from your home and have it shipped to your front door. Being able to do this when I remember I need it helps me to have it more quickly than if I got it from the store. Grab this Organic Coconut Oil at Amazon so you have it on hand when you’re ready to make this recipe! The best part is you don’t have to think about it again until it arrives!
What Jars Do I Use for Creating Beauty Gifts
There are SO many awesome jar options at Amazon! You will first have to decide how much you want to give away! 2oz, 4oz, or more!
Here are a couple of my favorite DIY Beauty Jars!
- These 4oz Mason Jars make the cutest gifts for so many different recipes!
- I am also a fan of these 2oz Glass Jars! Perfect for travel and great for gifts!
What Essential Oils Do I Add to DIY Body Butter?
Deciding what Essential Oils to add to your recipe kind of depends are what you are wanting to use it for. If your main needs are a face moisturizer and eye makeup remover (2-in-1), I would add Lavender Essential Oil and Frankincense Essential Oil. Both of these oils are gentle and safe for your skin while providing many benefits for your skin!
Where Do I Buy Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils?
I have done my research and I will only use Young Living Essential Oils in my recipes, on my body, and to diffuser in my house. I believe Young Living Essential Oils are 100% pure and made without any fillers or harmful chemicals. Since they are 100% pure, the oils do what they are supposed to do by effecting different body systems to help your body get rid of the harmful chemicals and toxins in a natural and healthy way. Here’s more about Young Living Essential Oils and how you can get these in your home!
Can I double or triple this recipe?
Absolutely! If you’re making this to give away as gifts, just think about what size jars you have and how many. Change your recipe accordingly!
