Softened butter and peanut butter in bowl

First, add your softened butter and peanut butter to a bowl. Mix together well.

Powdered sugar added to bowl

Next, mix in 3/4 cup of powdered sugar. (The mixture will be thick!) Also, line a baking sheet with parchment paper to place your treats on.

Scooping peanut butter mixture onto pretzels

Now, scoop a teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture onto a pretzel twist. Then place another pretzel on top, making a sandwich. (You may need to spread the mixture onto the pretzel.)

Now place the baking sheet full of treats in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.

Chilled pretzels bites next to bowl of melted almond bark

Once the treats have chilled, melt 4 ounces of the almond bark in the microwave. Heat up in 20 second increments and stir in between. Time to dip! (Work with about half of the treats at a time.)

Dipping Pretzel into almond bark

Dip the treats halfway into the almond bark and place them back on the baking sheet. Then heat another 4 ounces of almond bark and dip the rest of the Pretzel Bites. Let the almond bark to completely set.

Now, melt the remaining 2 ounces of almond bark and drizzle over the Pretzel Bites. Then, add sprinkles to the top of each treat. Again, work in batches and work quickly. Then the sprinkles will stick before the almond bark sets.

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites for Valentine's Day Ingredients

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites for Valentine’s Day

Yields: Between 40-45 treats
Preparation time: 45 minutes
Baking time: None
Additional time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
3/4 cup powdered sugar
10 ounces vanilla almond bark
1 bag of pretzel twists
Holiday sprinkles

Directions:
In a small mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and butter together until smooth.
Add the powdered sugar and mix well (mixture will be thick).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so you have somewhere to put your treats.
Use a teaspoon and scoop about 1 teaspoon of mixture onto the top of a pretzel. Place another pretzel on top to make a sandwich – spread peanut butter if needed.
Do this until all the peanut butter mixture is used.
Transfer your tray to the freezer and freeze treats for at least 30 minutes.
When you’re ready to dip the treats, heat 4 ounces of almond bark in a microwave safe bowl in 20 second increments (stirring between).
Once smooth, remove about half of the treats from the freezer and dip the treats halfway into the almond bark.
Place back on the baking sheet and let them cool completely.
Once the almond bark is gone, heat the other 4 ounces and repeat.
After all pretzels have been dipped and the first layer is hardened, drizzle remaining almond bark over treats with a fork (use the other 2 ounces if needed).
Drizzle a few at a time and top with sprinkles – work quickly before the almond bark cools so that the sprinkles stick.
Let the treats cool completely, about 15 minutes.
Package the treats up for friends and family or serve them on a platter.

Notes:
● The longest part of this recipe is filling the pretzels with peanut butter mixture. If you have extra hands or help this will go faster. Perfect for getting kids involved!
● Work in sections with the almond bark so it doesn’t harden on you. About 20 treats for every 4 ounces of almond bark.

Should I refrigerate my chocolate covered pretzels?

No, Chocolate Dipped Pretzels are best stored at room temperature. Storing them in the refrigerator could produce condensation in the container. It’s best to store them in an airtight container on your counter or pantry!
