4 small onions cut in strips
4 sprigs of basil leaves chopped
1 teaspoons oregano
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons Olive oil
4 1/2 cups chicken broth (you could also use vegetable broth)
12 oz whole wheat linguineDirections:
Place the pasta, onion, basil, and tomato, in large pot, pour the chicken broth in, and add all of the spices!Cover pot and bring to a boil.
Once it’s boiling, reduce to a low simmer and keep covered.
Cook for 10 minutes stirring every 2 minutes.
You can cook the pasta until almost all liquid has been evaporated, or you can take it off the stove right at 10 minutes to make it a little more juicy.
Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese as desired and Enjoy! =)
