Here’s What You Need:
2 Cups Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 Egg
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Milk
2 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
1 Teaspoon Pure Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 Banana
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, almonds, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
In a smaller bowl, combine the egg, milk, vegetable oil, maple syrup, banana and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix it all together.
Gently stir in blueberries.
Pour mixture into muffin pans and bake for 23-25 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool, serve, and enjoy!
These oatmeal cut will keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, or in the freezer for up to 1 month. Reheat in the microwave when you are ready to serve.
