My favorite part about this Peach Dump Cake with Blueberries is the oat and cinnamon topping. It adds an extra burst of flavor that pairs perfectly with ice cream!
Can I use a different fruit?
Yes! You can use almost any canned fruit to make a dump cake. Be sure to use a heavy syrup canned fruit so that the cake has some moisture to stick to. Some of my favorite fruits are cherry, pineapple, peaches, blueberries, and strawberries!
Does dump cake need to be refrigerated?
If you are making the dump cake and serving it on the same day, and within a few hours, then don’t worry about putting your dump cake in the refrigerator. If you have leftovers, or are serving the next day, I would store it in the refrigerator.
Tip: Sometimes a dump cake is just as good or even better when chilled in the refrigerator.
