How to make Easy Double Chocolate M&M Cookies

I love that this Double Chocolate M&M Cookies Recipe is made with pantry staples I always have on hand! A quick and easy recipe to make whenever I’m needing a chocolate treat!

First, mix together the brown sugar, white sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl.

Next, add in the eggs and vanilla.

Now measure out the dry ingredients and mix all together until combined.

Time to add in the chocolate!!! Fold in the M&Ms and chocolate chips into the cookie dough.

Next, use a cookie scoop to make the cookie dough balls. Place them on a prepared cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 9 minutes.

Finally, once the cookies come out the oven, top them off with the remaining M&Ms and chocolate chips. Let them completely cool and serve! ENJOY!

Baking time: 10 minutes
Additional time: 20 minutes

Cookie Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks) – melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups unbleached flour
1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups M&Ms (10.70 oz bag) (divided)
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (plus extra for garnishing)

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix together melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt until combined.
Fold in M&Ms and chocolate chips.
Use a 2 tablespoon cookie scoop to create cookie dough balls. Place them about 2” apart on the baking sheet.
Bake for 9 minutes.
Remove from the oven and immediately garnish with extra M&Ms and chocolate chips (optional) let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
