Halloween Brownie Cookies
Yields: 21 cookies
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 9 minutes
Additional time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 box of dark chocolate brownie mix (I used Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate 18.2 ounce box)
1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 eggs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 cup of holiday sprinkles
1/2 cup eyeball sprinkles
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium sized bowl whisk the brownie mix and flour together.
Add the eggs, melted butter, chocolate syrup, and vanilla together.
Mix in the chocolate chips.
Use a two tablespoon cookie scoop to create cookie dough balls.
Roll the cookie dough balls in a mixture of sprinkles (don’t add the eye balls yet or thick balls because they will melt).
Place the cookie dough balls about 2″ apart on the baking sheet and bake for 9 minutes.
Remove from the oven and immediately add eyeballs to your cookies!
Notes:
If your cookies need a little shaping, use a cookie cutter to shape the cookies by pushing the edges towards the center.
You an use a regular brownie mix or a dark chocolate brownie mix for this recipe! I love the look of a dark chocolate brownie mix cookie!
