Plus, here are even MORE Easy Valentine’s Day Treats and Desserts!

How to Make Valentine’s Day Rice Krispie Treats

To make Valentine’s Day Rice Krispie Treats, start by melting your butter in a microwave safe bowl. Add in marshmallows and coat them in the butter. Melt marshmallows in 45 second increments until the marshmallows are melted. Slowly stir in rice krispies or toasted rice cereal.

Press Rice Krispie mixture into heart shaped cookie cutters and let cool completely. Melt almond bark according to the directions on a package or in a melting pot.

Drizzle almond bark over Rice Krispie hearts and sprinkle with Valentine’s Day Sprinkles!

Valentine’s Day Treat Bags

If you’re packaging up your treats to give as a gift, add some Valentine’s Day M&Ms or another holiday candy into the cellophane bag, place the Cookie Cutter Krispie Treat in the bag, and tie it up with a cute pink or red ribbon!

You could always add a decretive straw or other fillers to your Valentine’s Day Bag!

For my gift bags, I made some extra Heart Krispie Treats in the cookie cutters but took them out of the cookie cutters to decorate and package in the gift bag.

I think the cookie cutters make a super cute gift and something for your friends to keep and use again. But if you’re putting more than one treat in the bag you can always take the extra treats out of the cookie cutters!

If you don’t have more than one cookie cutter, don’t worry, you don’t have to leave any treats in the cookie cutter! I just thought it was a fun gift idea!

How Many Rice Krispie Treats Can You Make

I was able to make 8 filled cookie cutters out of this recipe, but it may depend on how big/deep your cookie cutters are. My heart cookie cutters were very thick so it took a lot of mixture to press down and pack in the cookie cutters. If you use smaller cutters, you would need less mixture. However, you can always double this recipe if you are making a lot of gifts!

How Do I Melt Almond Bark or Chocolate

You can melt your almond bark or chocolate in the microwave or according to the directions on the package. I like to use a Melting Pot when melting almond bark or chocolate because it’s SO easy and it keeps it warm so that the chocolate doesn’t harden. If you like to bake any kinds of treats, you should invest in a Melting Pot!

Heart Cookie Cutters

I used these Heart Cookie Cutters from Target for my Valentine’s Day Treats! So easy to use and different sizes!
