These get a little messy, but I love the runny look on the fudge!

Double Boiler of Chocolate Fudge

In a double boiler, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, almond bark, butter, and salt together.

Stirring Chocolate Fudge

Place the double boiler on the stove and heat over medium heat. Stirring often while the mixture melts.

Adding Vanilla to Chocolate Fudge

Once the mixture is almost completely melted, stir continuously until it’s smooth. Once it’s all melted and smooth, remove from the heat and add the vanilla. Mix well.

Pouring chocolate fudge into pan for Easter Fudge

Pour fudge batter into the prepared baking dish and immediately top with Cadbury Creme Eggs.

Finished Cadbury Creme Fudge

I used 10 eggs for the top of my fudge, but you can always use less if you want them more spaced out.

Cadbury Creme Chocolate Fudge

Let the fudge cool for 30 minutes at room temperature and then cover and place in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours or leave the fudge at room temperature for 4-6 hours to set completely.

Tips for Cadbury Creme Fudge

I like to do a mixture of both. I want my fudge to set quickly, but I like it to set at room temperature so it does not dry out.

Bite of Chocolate Cadbury Creme Fudge

Here is the schedule I usually follow for fudge:

  • 30 minutes – room temperature on the counter
  • 30 minutes – in the refrigerator
  • 2 hours – at room temperature

After this, my fudge is normally set. However, this may be different for you depending on where you live or weather.

After 4 hours I always cover my fudge to be sure the fudge doesn’t dry out.

Cadbury Creme Fudge

How do I create a double boiler to make Chocolate Cadbury Creme Fudge?

To create a double boiler you will need two heat safe pots or one pot and a heat safe bowl.

Fill the pot with about 1 1/2 inches of water and place it on the stove. Grab the heat safe bowl and make sure it fits on top of the pot without getting in the water.

Add your ingredients to the bowl and turn the heat on medium.

The water will become hot causing the mixture in the bowl to melt passively helping it not to burn.

What makes Cadbury Creme Fudge smooth?

Butter! Don’t skip the butter. I mean you can skip the butter because the fudge will still taste amazing without it. But adding the butter helps the fudge to stay smooth and creamy.

Easter Fudge with Cadbury Creme Eggs

How do I store my Chocolate Cadbury Creme Egg Fudge?

I like to store mine at room temperature in an air tight container for up to 3 weeks.

If you are wanting to make the fudge ahead of time, seal it really well in an air tight container and freeze for up to 3 months.

The Cadbury Eggs might get messy once frozen and thawed, but they should taste okay.
