DIY Tips & Notes:
**I recommend always using purified or distilled water when making your DIYs and natural products (or stretching products). Tap water contains natural impurities, chemicals, and chlorine that can lead to bacteria growth.
**I also recommend that you only make one “stretched” bottle at a time and storing the concentrated original product in it’s original container until you are ready to make more.
Stretching Thieves Laundry Soap
We are going to stretch 1 bottle of Thieves Laundry Soap into 3 bottles of Thieves Laundry Soap!
Here’s What You Need:
Empty 32oz Pump Bottles (BPA Free) – You can also use glass mason jars
Thieves Laundry Soap (divided into 3 equal parts or about 10 oz each bottle)
Thieves Household Cleaner
Purified or Distilled Water
Essential Oils (Lemon, Lavender, Purification)
Directions:
Divide your Thieves Laundry Soap evenly into each of the three pump bottles.
***(I don’t like to make all of mine at the same time, so I pour 10 oz into a pump bottle when I’m ready and save the rest for another time)
Add two capfuls of Thieves Household Cleaner to each bottle.
Optional Add Essential Oils if desired (this helps with cleaning and smelling amazing), Add 10 drops total of one oil, or divide the 10 drops between two or three of the oils.
Fill bottle with purified or distilled water and shake well.
Use two pumps of laundry soap for each laundry load.
Stretching Thieves Dish Soap
Did you know you could stretch 1 bottle of Thieves Dish Soap into 4 bottles of Thieves Dish Soap?
Here’s What You Need:
1 Mason Jar or Container for storing soap (or an old Thieves Dish Soap Bottle to make your new soap in).
Thieves Dish Soap
Thieves Household Cleaner
Baking Soda
Purified or Distilled Water
Directions:
Pour ALL dish soap except 3 oz (or 1/4 of the soap) into another container.
If you have an old dish soap bottle, just pour about 3 oz in there to make your stretched soap!
Add 1/4 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner to the 3 oz of dish soap.
Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
Add purified or distilled water (leave room for shaking)
Shake well until mixed and top off with water.
Stretching Thieves Dishwashing Powder
Stretching Thieves Dishwashing Powder is SO easy! All you need is 1/2 scoop of dishwashing powder and 1/2 scoop of baking soda! Do this as you go or make it all at one time!
Here’s What You Need:
Thieves Dishwashing Powder
2 Cups Baking Soda
Directions:
Add 2 cups of Baking Soda to your Thieves Dishwashing Powder.
Mix well until combined.
Use 1 scoop from your Thieves Dishwashing Powder (provided) for each load in the dishwasher.
Stretching Thieves Foaming Hand Soap
How you make your Thieves Foaming Hand Soap is up to you, and may depend on if you’ve already used your Thieves Hand Soap and you have the 32 oz refill or a new bottle of 8oz Thieves Soap.
Here’s What You Need:
Thieves Foaming Hand Soap Refill or a New Bottle
Mason Jar for storing extra hand soap
1/4 cup measuring cup
Purified or Distilled Water
Directions:
Pour your hand soap into a mason jar so that the foaming soap dispenser is empty.
Measure 1/4 cup of Thieves Foaming Hand Soap into the bottle.
Fill using purified or distilled water and leave a little space for the cap.
Shake and use!
*I have the 32 oz refill, so I will leave my soap in the refill bottle and pour 1/4 cup each time I want to make a new bottle.
Stretching Young Living Shampoo
If you want to save money on your natural shampoo, here is a great way to stretch it!
Here’s What You Need:

Young Living Shampoo
Distilled or Purified Water
Directions:
Fill pump bottles with about 2oz (or 1/4 of the way full) of shampoo.

Shake well until combined.
You may have to let the shampoo sit a day or two and shake occasional to get it to combine completely. Use 3-4 pumps each wash depending on your hair texture/fullness.
Stretching Young Living Conditioner
This process is a little different from stretching the shampoo, and you want to use a 1:1 ratio.

Directions:
Fill a pump bottles with about 4oz (or 1/2 of the way full) of conditioner.
Add distilled water or purified water leaving space to shake.
